The role will involve face to face elements, like observations of competency. These will be delivered 2-3 times throughout the Apprenticeship/Diploma per learner. Face to face visits could also be provided to learners who prefer F2F approaches.</p><p>The main duties and responsibilities of the Development Coach role will include:</p><p>· To deliver teaching and learning on a range of Adult Care Apprenticeships/Diplomas, with mixed ability learners, from Level 2 through to Level 5 where required. This includes both 1 to 1 and group teaching.</p><p>· To deliver Apprenticeships/Diplomas in a timely manner ensuring high levels of learner satisfaction, retention, and success.</p><p>· To promote the upskilling of Maths and English, and helping to upskill digital skills with all learners ensuring they are reaching their full potential.</p><p>· To keep records, monitor and track learners progress so that management information and statistical data fulfil the requirements of the organisation’s quality assurance and information systems, whilst maintaining a clear audit trail.</p><p>· To prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, assignments and assessments as required and to assess learners work in line with organisational and awarding body requirements</p><p>· To ensure on and off the job training is monitored and recorded demonstrating learner progress</p><p>· Regularly review learner progress with learners and employers at least every 8 weeks</p><p>· To assist 3Spirit in fulfilling its safeguarding responsibilities by protecting and promoting the welfare of learners working with us</p><p>· Liaise with learners regarding careers advice and guidance, and referring them to the right platforms and bodies for careers guidance</p><p>· To actively promote the Prevent Duty and British values to develop learners understanding</p><p>· To attend standardisation meetings regularly and act on IQA feedback in a timely manner</p><p>· To participate in the organisation’s Observation of teaching, learning and assessment and appraisal processes</p><p>· To contribute to the preparation for external quality assurance and inspections</p><p>· To undertake administrative duties as required by the organisation</p><p>· To contribute to enrolment of, and provide information, advice, and guidance for learners.</p><p>· Provide robust developmental feedback to learners to help them with their next steps in their career, learning or future aspirations</p><p>· To actively promote 3Spirit’s course curriculum offer, enhancing learners’ skills and preparing them for future success in their next steps</p><p>· To carry out such duties and responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work Act and associated legislation as described in the company’s Health and Safety policy documents</p><p>· To support the Compliance Officer with carrying out Health and Safety pre vetting reports/updates on employer premises</p><p>· Maintain accurate learner and employer records on the e-Portfolio.</p><p>· Attend monthly 1-1 meetings and caseload reviews with the Lead IQA</p><p>· To ensure that you stay up to date with relevant legislation including health and Safety, safeguarding, equality and diversity, PREVENT, British values etc.</p><p>The skills and knowledge required:</p><p>· A recognised Teaching Qualification</p><p>· A recognised Assessor Qualification</p><p>· Functional Skills in Maths, English at level 2 or equivalent</p><p>· Previous experience delivering Health and Social Care courses.</p><p>· Proven track record in achieving maximum results through effective learner delivery</p><p>· Experience supporting learners aged 16+ with positive outcomes</p><p>· Excellent time management skills</p><p>· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p><p>· Excellent all-round IT Skills</p><p>· Vocational experience and up to date knowledge and CPD within the sector</p><p>· Full UK Driving license and use of own vehicle</p><p>Job Type: Full-time</p><p>Pay: £30,000.00 per year</p><p>Schedule:</p><ul> <li>Monday to Friday</li></ul><p>Application question(s):</p><ul> <li>Do you have a relevant teaching qualification?</li> <li>Do you have a relevant assessor qualification?</li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul> <li>Health and Social Care: 5 years (preferred)</li></ul><p>Licence/Certification:</p><ul> <li>Driving Licence (preferred)</li></ul><p>Work Location: In person</p></div></body></html>
