This exciting opportunity involves working closely with health care apprentices, assessing BTEC students during their work placements, and supporting our innovative health care support worker academy and pre-employment courses.</p> <p> As part of a growing and well-established team, you’ll benefit from our strong connections with the NHS and the broader health and social care sector, collaborating with colleagues from the Integrated Care System.</p> <p> Join us in shaping the future of health care education and making a meaningful impact in the lives of our students!</p> </div></div><div><div><div>Key Responsibilities</div> </div></div><div><div><ul><li><b>Course Design Wizard:</b> Collaborate to create innovative health and social care courses, including apprenticeships.</li> <li><b>Team Success Advocate:</b> Work together to ensure every student achieves their goals.</li> <li><b>On-Site Assessment Guru:</b> Evaluate student performance in real-world workplace settings.</li> <li><b>Stakeholder Liaison:</b> Engage with key partners like the NHS and DWP to enhance learning experiences.</li> <li><b>Resource Creator:</b> Prepare engaging Schemes of Work, workbooks, and training packages that elevate training and assessment.</li> <li><b>Induction Specialist:</b> Enroll and induct candidates with precision, ensuring all details are spot-on.</li> <li><b>Skills Assessment Pro:</b> Conduct functional skills assessments and provide tailored support for learner success.</li> <li><b>Progress Monitor:</b> Keep a pulse on learner progress, ensuring deadlines are met and achievements celebrated.</li> <li><b>Internal Quality Assurance Champion:</b> Present candidates’ work for IQA and undertake verification activities as needed.</li> <li><b>Safety and Standards Guardian:</b> Uphold Health and Safety rules and ensure compliance with Ofqual and Awarding Organisation standards.</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><div>Skills, knowledge and expertise </div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications and training</b></h2> </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Vocational competency in training and assessment within the sector.</li> <li>Level 2 qualification (GCSE A – C, or equivalent) in Maths and English or a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College in the first year of employment</li> <li>Hold an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) or be willing to work towards.</li> <li>Vocationally experienced within health and social care.</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills and expertise</b></h2> </div></div><div><div><ul><li><b>Vocational Training Expertise:</b> Demonstrated competency in training and assessment within the health and social care sector.</li> <li><b>Maths & English Proficiency:</b> Level 2 qualification (GCSE A – C or equivalent) in Maths and English, or a commitment to achieve these with our support in your first year.</li> <li><b>Assessor Qualification:</b> Hold an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent) or be eager to pursue one.</li> <li><b>Real-World Experience:</b> Bring your valuable vocational experience in health and social care to the team.</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><div> </div></div></div><div><div><div>How to Apply</div> </div></div><div><div><p>We look forward to receiving your application and knowing more about your qualifications, skills, personal qualities and experience that you would bring to the role and to Telford College.
