<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/loose.dtd"><html><body><div/><div> <div> <div> <div> <div><div><div><div>About the role </div></div></div><div><div><p>We have a new vacancy arisen in our ever expanding Automotive department for an experienced Automotive Assessor.</p> <p> The purpose of this role will be to support the Business Programme Managers, Quality team and the Business Development Executives to develop and implement a common delivery process that ensures a high quality experience for apprentices and employers.</p><br/> <p/> </div></div><div><div><div>Key Responsibilities</div> </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Prepare Schemes of Work, workbooks and training packages for training and assessment, as required by the Business Programme Manager.</li> </ul><ul><li>Identify, develop and report to the Business Programme Manager and identify to the Business Development Executives any further/additional business opportunities.</li> </ul><ul><li>Enrol and induct candidates into the College, ensuring all information is correct.</li> </ul><ul><li>Carry out Functional Skills Initial Assessment, Diagnostics, End Tests and provide appropriate delivery and support where required.</li> </ul><ul><li>Maintain individual records and ILP’s to support the learner’s progress.</li> </ul><ul><li>Monitor learner progress and ensure deadlines are met by the learners.</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><div>Skills, knowledge and expertise </div></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Qualifications and training</b></h2> </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Level 2 qualification (GCSE A – C, or equivalent) in Maths and English or a willingness to attain these qualifications with the support of the College in the first year of employment</li> <li>Hold an Assessors qualification (A1 or equivalent)</li> <li>Hold IQA qualifications (V1 or equivalent)</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills and expertise</b></h2> </div></div><div><div><ul><li>Ability to deliver Functional Skills</li> <li>A good communicator with the ability to negotiate with candidates and employers</li> <li>An imaginative and forward looking approach towards assessment, training and learning</li> </ul></div></div><div><div><div>How to Apply</div> </div></div><div><div><p>We look forward to receiving your application and knowing more about your qualifications, skills, personal qualities and experience that you would bring to the role and to Telford College.
