OVERALL SUMMARY The HR & L&D Administrator will operate as key administrative support to the Human Resources and Learning & Development team. Reporting to the L&D Business Partner, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks with a focus on ensuring the learning experience and service to the business is optimal. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage administrative tasks related to learning including inbox management, scheduling and recording attendance of learning activities and ensuring data on the LMS is current Provide ad hoc HR project support, with a flexible approach and ability to take initiative Ensure L&D operations run seamlessly, including managing and co-ordinating training sessions, issuing feedback surveys and reporting Provide first-line support and advice for learning and development related queries. Ensuring advice provided is commercial, timely and meets specific business needs within 48 hours of receipt via the CBAM learning and development inbox Review and update HR systems to ensure accurate data and MI is maintained Generate reports from various HR and L&D systems and support completion of MI packs Advise and support colleagues on the application and submission of professional/personal development requests, adhering to policy and process; ensuring training requests are authorised and within budget Provide support and assistance to the HR Advisors and HR BPs when dealing with employee queries or people initiatives Process invoices on the expense management system and liaise with vendors to ensure a timely and informed payment cycle WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships quickly Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with high attention to detail Ability to manage a wide variety of requests working flexibly and to tight timescales whilst maintaining high quality work and accuracy Strong organisational and planning ability Demonstrable right-first-time approach to delivering exceptional client experience Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE: Experience of managing and maintaining a Learning Management System Previous knowledge and experience of working within a fast-paced HR team Experience of working with an expense management system Educated to degree level or equivalent CIPD qualified As an employer, Close Brothers Asset Management is committed to equality and valuing diversity within its workforce.
