Working Pattern: TBC About Role Tresham College are currently recruiting for a Lecture of ESOL at our Northampton Campuses (Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough). Lecturers at Bedford College, play a pivotal role in the success of our students through: Engaging learners in the wider community through extracurricular activities, teaching life skills, and character development. Using a range of teaching methods, materials, and ILT resources to encourage learners’ skill development and understanding. Tracking student progress, participate in standards moderation, and report on student achievements. Understanding curriculum development, learning theory, teaching approaches, and assessment methodologies. Considering cultural diversity, learners’ entitlements, and individual needs while promoting effective learning. About You: Degree or equivalent in related subject area – ESOL/English Hold or be willing to work towards the DET (Diploma in Education & Training) or PGCE (PCET) Good all-round level of education to include Maths and English to GCSE (Grade A – C) or equivalent level (Level 2) Demonstrable experience & success in teaching ESOL at a range of levels Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and a passion for supporting students education.
