The salary scale for this role is £24,872 - £43,440 pa inc London Weighting, depending on qualifications and experience.</p> <p>“An additional market-rate supplement of up to £10k may be available for this role, depending upon an individual's skills and experience”</p> <p><b>The </b><b>role:</b></p> <p>Our Engineering and Motor Vehicle Department, based at our accessible Rush Green Campus, are skilling learners across motor vehicle disciplines, to enter the workforce.</p> <p>You’ll provide inspiration, skills and practical experience to learners across our department’s courses. You’ll also contribute to the development of our course offer, building on our innovative provision.</p> <p><b>Key Responsibilities of our</b> <b>Lecturer - Motor Vehicle:</b></p> <ul><li>Plan and develops lessons, including the development of schemes of work</li> <li>Develop and implement learner-centred assessment methods, with focus on constructive and development feedback for our students</li> <li>Encourage, monitor and report on the attendance, progress and achievements of students</li> <li>Ensure safe working environments for students and colleagues, enforce health and safety standard in your area, ensuring all students understand and comply</li> <li>Undertake personal coaching and pastoral responsbilities for designated students in order to support them int heir own development and future progression</li> <li>Keep abreast of industry developments in your specialist area to ensure the relevance and continued employability of our students</li> <li>Actively participate in continuing professional development around theory and practice within the education sector</li> </ul> <p><b>As our ideal </b><b>Lecturer - Motor Vehicle, you</b> <b>should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:</b></p> <ul><li>Hold a teaching qualification and have experience of teaching in the Further or Higher Education sectors</li> <li><p>OR</p> </li><li>Have a level 3 qualification in the subject relevant to the course you will be delivering, and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme</li> <li><p>OR</p> </li><li>Have significant Motor Industry experience, be qualified to level 3 in the subject and be prepared to undertake a Further Education teaching qualification with our support, as part of our Passport to Teaching programme</li> </ul> <p>All applicants should have good administrative skills and be able to accurately track students' attendance, progress and achievements.</p> <p>If you are passionate about success and can do the above, then we want to hear from you!</p> <p>You will need to submit a cover letter demonstrating how your personality, skills and experience meet our values for this role.</p> <p><b>PLEASE NOTE;</b></p> <ul><li><b>All application forms must be fully completed, showing full education and employment details.
