You will be joining the colleges exciting new specialist Preparation for Adulthood provision, teaching and supporting young people with complex needs. The role will encompass that of a teacher and personal tutor, with delivery of independent living and work skills and community-based activities. There will also be opportunities to contribute towards EHCP reviews and curriculum planning. Key Responsibilities Deliver Tailored Lessons: Create and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs and encompass the personal targets of our students. Support Holistic Development: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including support staff and external partners, to ensure the holistic development of each student. Inspire and Motivate: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, understood, and empowered. Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and report on student progress, adapting your teaching strategies to ensure continued development. Engage with Families: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are fully involved in their child’s education and progress.
