About the Role The Sheffield College now has an exciting opportunity within our Academy of Service Industries as a 0.4 lecturer in Early years and childcare. This is a key role within an existing team, supporting young people to achieve their ambitions into further study and employment. The early years department are looking for an inspiring lecturer with relevant industry experience, preferably with an assessor’s qualification. This is an exciting time to join The Sheffield College, helping to shape the future of the department in the development and delivery of our qualifications and ensuring our curriculum is aligned to employer needs and skills. Key Responsibilities Support and guidance of our young people and adult learners to reach their future goals. Help develop and deliver an engaging curriculum in Early years and childcare. Programme coordination within the department ranging from level 1-3, inc. T-levels. Assessment of student’s vocational skills as well as marking of coursework. Contribute to the growth and development of the department whilst ensuring internal quality is maintained.
