We present a remarkable opening for a driven Project Coordinator to contribute to a program addressing the critical skills shortages presently affecting the nuclear industry. This large-scale, national project has been commissioned with a significant commitment from the HMG and industry stakeholders.
In this role, you'll lend your expertise to our Programme Management Office, coordinating impactful projects and contracts. Your role will include ensuring that plans and controls are in place, progress is tracked, milestones reached, and project management processes and systems are adhered to. This role is largely remote, however, it may entail national travel when deemed necessary.
The remuneration package includes a salary approximating £30,000 per year, pending experience, an employer's pension contribution of 6%, life assurance, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, optional private health care package, and a rewarding bonus scheme. Key Responsibilities:
- Daily tracking of contracts and projects.
- Liase with the project delivery team, keeping stakeholders informed about the project's progression.
- Build and develop the Project Management capability.
- Oversee finance and contracts administration in cooperation with the Contracting and Procurement Manager.
- Ensure all key project documents are version controlled and filed appropriately.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a project support role.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- A good understanding of project management methodologies.
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C or 5.
- Willingness to work towards or hold an entry qualification in project management.
