School of Psychology We are looking for a Senior Lecturer with experience of Research Methods in Psychology, to join our expanding School of Psychology. Our School has grown significantly over the last few years, and our journey continues. Our academic team brings together extensive experience from academia, professional practice, and industry. Our goal is to equip our students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, ensuring they are fully prepared for employment upon graduation. The Role - Senior Lecturer in Psychology: As a Senior Lecturer, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, ensuring high levels of student outcomes. This will involve: Module leadership of several large, core modules Overall responsibility for a year group or cohort within a large programme Line management of Lecturers (who may themselves lead modules) Contributing to teaching, learning, and assessment activities to ensure excellent student outcomes You will collaborate with stakeholders across the university to ensure efficient, high-quality programme delivery that aligns with Arden’s vision of accessible, career-focused education About You: To succeed in this role, you will need: An MSc or equivalent qualification in Psychology with Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC), recognised by the British Psychological Society (BPS) Proven experience in developing and enhancing psychology programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels A strong understanding of current teaching, learning, and assessment practices in higher education Expertise in research methods in Psychology up to Level 7 Experience managing programme teams and individual staff If you’re passionate about shaping the future of psychology education and thrive in a dynamic, expanding university, we’d love to hear from you.
