We are currently seeking to recruit a Training Administrator to join the Mercedes-Benz Apprenticeship Programme Administration Team. This role will report directly into the Training & Quality Manager and the successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of training administration including course scheduling, retailer engagement, and maintaining learning records. The Training Administrator will be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. They will possess exceptional customer service skills, and ideally have previous experience within a learning and development department. The Apprenticeship Programme is responsible for the development of hundreds of apprentices across the Mercedes-Benz Car, Van, and Truck retail networks in the UK. For more information, please visit the website at: https://www.mercedes-benztraining.co.uk/mercedes-benz-academy-programme.aspx Main duties and responsibilities: Schedule Apprentice attended and virtual (online) training sessions, issuing joining instructions and maintaining attendance records Respond proactively to non-attendance, and communicate with affected Retailers, and Apprentices Report training attendance and scheduling updates into the Programme Manager Provide a consistent high level of customer service at all times by phone, email, and in person Provide Learner Management System (LMS) and Administrative support to the Mercedes-Benz Retailer Network Manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls and emails from the Retailer Network; including from Managers and Apprentices, responding in agreed formats and timeframes Provide cover for training centre reception duties, as necessary Follow all agreed Quality Assurance and Risk Management systems and comply with all policies and procedures (e.g. Health and Safety) and ensure that these policies are followed Actively support company policy and best practice including security, with particular emphasis on protection of learner and customer sensitive information Follow all Safeguarding and Prevent policies and procedures, and work with the DSL to maintain CPD Actively promote equal opportunities and diversity in accordance with our policy Promote a safe working environment in accordance with policies, and current legislation Maintain a safe, presentable, and clean working environment Contribute to process of continual improvement Actively work to the policies & procedures as set by Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy Provide additional administrative, and training support as determined necessary by Mercedes-Benz Essential Personal Qualities, Qualifications & Skills: Have an outgoing, enthusiastic and confident personality, with a desire to engage with people Be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service (including past experience) Strong communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills Excellent time management The ability to communicate with a variety of people within a fast-paced environment Maintain a professional manner at all times Demonstrate a pro-active ‘can-do’ attitude Good attention to detail A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel Experience of using a Learning Management system (Desired) Previous experience within a learning and development department (Desired) Normal place of work: Mercedes-Benz Apprentice Academy, Delaware Drive, Tongwell, Milton Keynes, MK15 8BA. On the rare occasion, there will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations such as (but not limited to) Calex offices, alternative Mercedes facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
