The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programmes aimed at enhancing the skills and performance of our sales team. The ideal individual will have a passion for telesales, a deep understanding of effective training methodologies, and a proven track record of driving results in a sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Development & Delivery:Design and deliver engaging, interactive sales training programmes tailored to the needs of both new and experienced sales professionals. This includes onboarding training, ongoing skill development, and product training.
- Sales Skills Enhancement:Focus on improving core sales competencies such as prospecting, negotiation, closing techniques, relationship-building, objection handling, and communication strategies.
- Performance Monitoring & Feedback:Assess the effectiveness of training through performance metrics, sales results, and feedback from participants. Provide constructive feedback to sales staff and suggest areas for further improvement.
- Training Material Creation:Develop comprehensive training materials, including presentations, manuals, role-playing exercises, and video tutorials that align with the sales goals and company culture.
- Sales Process Optimisation:Work closely with the sales team to identify gaps in knowledge and areas for improvement. Offer insights and recommendations for enhancing sales strategies, workflows, and processes.
- One-on-One Coaching: Provide individual coaching sessions to sales representatives, helping them apply training concepts and achieve their personal sales goals.
- Ongoing Learning & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in sales training techniques and tools, continuously improving the training curriculum and delivery methods.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role within a sales-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and techniques across various sectors.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse groups.
- Ability to create and deliver tailored training content that addresses the specific needs of the sales team.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly with individuals at all levels.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple training sessions and projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of training tools, CRM systems, and other software to support training initiatives.
- A strong track record of improving sales performance and achieving measurable results.
