Abingdon & Witney College is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to lead three key teams—Business Development, Apprenticeship Recruitment, and T-Level Industry Placements. In this critical role, you will help shape the future of the College by forging strong employer relationships, increasing student placements, and identifying new business opportunities that align with national and local skills needs. This role will work closely with the Commercial Director, Marketing Manager and Heads of Faculty to support with the effective use of labour market information (LMI) to ensure the College's offer meets the evolving demands of employers and industries, contributing to regional workforce development. With a proactive and strategic mindset, you will identify high-demand sectors for new training programmes, apprenticeships, and T-Level placements, ensuring students gain the career-ready skills they need. You'll also take the lead in project managing new product launches, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the College remains at the forefront of educational and industry change.
