Do you have the skills to guide adult learners on their educational journey? If so, this role could be perfect for you. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality lessons across early years subjects at level 4, 5 and 6, utilizing diverse teaching methods to support varied learning styles and student needs; designing and developing course materials, lesson plans, and assessments, incorporating innovative resources and digital platforms; fostering a positive learning environment, providing mentorship and guidance, supporting students' academic and professional growth; and supporting course planning, scheduling, and administration, ensuring smooth delivery of the curriculum and meeting accreditation standards. Applicants will be required to hold a Level 6 qualification in a relevant subject, whilst a Level 7 qualification, or a willingness to work towards this, is desirable. You may be expected to teach across a variety of modules including, but not limited to, Inclusion and Wellbeing; Reflective Early Years Pedagogies; Policy and Practice; Researching with Young Children; Outdoor Learning; and Dissertation. Although a teaching qualification is an advantage, training opportunities exist within the College and we can support you in gaining your Award in Education and Training Level 3 Qualification (AET), within your first year of joining the college.
