Job title: Casual Rail Engineering Technician IQA (Competency)
Salary: £25 per hour

We are recruiting an Internal Quality Assurer to support our Rail Engineering Technician Apprenticeship provision – are you interested in joining us?
An opportunity has arisen to support our Rail Engineering Technician provision as an Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) working on a part-time, casual basis.
The IQA is essential in ensuring the quality of our qualifications. This role focuses on managing assessments to guarantee they are valid and reliable, aligning with national standards and reducing risks. The IQA ensures that certificates issued to learners are credible and meet all requirements.
We are specifically seeking an individual with experience in the Railway sector who can IQA for the Level 3 Rail Engineering Competency Aim.
The majority of the IQA work can be undertaken remotely through the OneFile ePortfolio system and you will be required to attend regular standardisation and planning meetings.
Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this.
