Judged as 'good with outstanding features' (Ofsted Nov 2015) and 'Good' for its Care Standards (Ofsted Jan 2022), and a number of commendations for Higher Education (QAA May 2014).</div> <p/> <div>Responsibilities include supporting the Duty Safeguarding Officer with ensuring the care and welfare of students and monitoring standards of behaviour. The successful applicant will play an active role in ensuring the residential students enjoy a safe and secure environment whilst helping develop learners in their personal, social and life skills. Duties will also include regular patrolling of the campus to ensure site security is maintained.</div> <p/> <div>The successful applicant may on occasion be required to drive College transport and therefore will need to be in possession of a full clean driving license.</div> <p/> <div>Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment.
