About the role
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual who has the courage and expertise to help further shape our career-focused curriculum and ensure outstanding learning opportunities across our curriculum.
The role purposes are to:
- Plan, deliver and assess high quality learning, teaching & assessment.
- Ensure excellent student experience, progress, and destination.
- Support and maintain links with internal and external stakeholders creating a career focused curriculum and outstanding learning opportunities.
- General responsibilities; adherence to and compliance with all college policies and procedures.
About the Candidate
The successful candidate will be an outstanding versatile teaching practitioner, with relevant vocational competence within visual arts, specifically digital art. You will possess the ability to deliver high quality classes, with high expectations, that enthuse and inspire learners and best prepare them for their next steps. You will be supporting and expanding on the excellent reputation that the faculty already has with employers and within the city.
You will have access to deliver sessions within industry standard Mac suites, and you will be highly proficient in Adobe suite.
You will enjoy working with young people and want to drive the area forward with a career focussed approach, ensuring that employers support the delivery through masterclasses and live briefs.
You will possess a Teaching Qualification or be willing to work towards one.
