Electrical Trainer £30,000 - £32,000 Part-time or Full-time Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical and solar installer working in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes a year. Through our award-winning in-house training we’re proud to be continually developing newcomers to the electrical industry. The Role In this rewarding role, you’ll be providing the practical training required for our apprentices to achieve their full potential as qualified electricians. Flexible working hours are available for this role with both full and part-time candidates considered. The safeguarding of our apprentices is of paramount importance to us and therefore all candidates must provide 2 references. Successful applicants will need to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as the Criminal Records Bureau) check before taking up the position. Responsibilities · Supporting lecturers and assessors with practical training and assessments for the electrical installation apprenticeships · Supporting the training of candidates undertaking solar PV training · Supporting apprentices in preparation for their AM2 end-point assessment · Training candidates in domestic ventilation Requirements · Experienced electrician · A well-organised, tenacious approach, with the ability to manage your own workload · A positive, ‘can-do’ attitude · Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with young people · Good IT skills (MS Word, Outlook & Internet) We’ll support your training as you complete the Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment. It is expected that you’ll be able to achieve this within six months by gathering appropriate evidence to complete a portfolio of your own.
