An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Learning Facilitator to work within the healthcare and early years department. You must be an inspiring, dedicated, flexible and enthusiastic Learning Facilitator and will have responsibility for students across Level 1 to Level 3. The key aspect of this role is to deliver our cross-college Employability and PSD agenda. You would be required to work as part of the course team and support the curriculum leader and manager to improve learner punctuality, attendance, retention, achievement and success. The role requires you to liaise with employers to source and monitor high quality student placements. You will also be required to monitor and track the learner journey and to ensure appropriate support is implemented to maximise learner achievement, success and excellent outcomes for all learners. You will have a solution focused and positive work ethic and will share best practice with other members of the team. You will be required to be flexible in your approach with a ‘can-do, will-do’ attitude. You should have excellent communication and ICT skills and be able to deliver a curriculum with a willingness to embed digital skills. You will enjoy working independently as well as thriving on being part of a team. You will be able to juggle a busy workload with a positive approach whilst being eager to learn and keep up to date with the latest practice. The post holder will liaise closely with colleagues to track and monitor progress, as well as provide both group and one-to-one support to learners. The successful applicant will have a related vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in this curriculum area must have relevant vocational experience.
