JOB TITLE: LECTURER – BRIDGE TO ENGAGEMENT LOCATION: DOWNHAM MARKET HOURS: SESSIONAL/ HOURLY PAID SALARY: £25.06 - £31.61 PER HOUR (INCLUSIVE OF LEAVE, PLANNING AND PREPARATION TIME) Due to increasing student numbers and investment into our inclusive learning provision we are recruiting for additional Lecturers to join our team at Downham Market to support our Bridge to Engagement learners. Our Bridge to Engagement programme enables learners who may not be comfortable at a larger campus to access further education in a small, bespoke campus. Our group sizes are small, meaning that we can offer a highly supported environment, enabling our learners to develop and progress to either further study or employment. Our curriculum team are integral in providing learners will the tools, knowledge and confidence that they need to succeed and we are proud of the success of these programmes. We have recently moved to Downham Market with our Bridge to Engagement provision, these programmes are designed to support young people with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) issues. We are looking for innovative and passionate teachers who are confident in managing challenging behaviour. We have a small and dedicated team at our Downham Market site. We operate smaller class sizes and extended support, this is a rewarding role for those teachers who like to make a difference to young people’s outcomes, both within and after education. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 10 or above (£32,384 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
