JOB TITLE: LECTURER - HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM LOCATION: KING'S LYNN HOURS: 22.5 PER WEEK (0.6FTE) - TO INCLUDE THURSDAY EVENING SESSIONS SALARY: £18,112 - £22,841 (£29,785 - £37,561 FTE) CONTRACT: TEMPORARY UNTIL DECEMBER 2025 (IN THE FIRST INSTANCE) Due to continued growth in student numbers we are recruiting for an additional Lecturer on a part-time basis to support our Hospitality and Tourism teams. What matters most to us is your enthusiasm, your ability to engage and enthuse our young people and your passion for learning. If you do not hold a teaching qualification CWA will support you to obtain this through extensive CPD, financial investment and a supportive timetable. You will teach on a range of courses, primarily level 1 and 2, and age ranges including 16 – 18 and adult learners. The successful post holder will be part of the team based on campus, within our industry standard NOVUS restaurant and Tourism themed classrooms. You must have experience of working in the Hospitality and Tourism industry, with a focus on customer service in this fast-paced environment and of leading a team. A relevant level 3 qualification is essential, and a degree is desirable. A teaching qualification is not essential, however CWA will support you to achieve this through extensive CPD, mentorship and a supportive timetable. Please note that your point on the salary scale will be determined based on both experience and teaching qualifications. Appointments will not normally be made at point 10 or above (£32,384 FTE) without a level 5 teaching qualification and experience.
