We are recruiting a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality for Hertford Regional College (HRC) to help deliver the full range of professional programmes of teaching, learning, assessment and student support in Hospitality, Events and Tourism.

About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual with experience of teaching the underpinning theory and practical skills required to work in the Hospitality, Events and Tourism industries. As the Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality you will ensure the full implementation of course review, evaluation and development, and other quality assurance processes as required by college policy. You will be required to deliver planned, coordinated, high quality teaching and assessment on appropriate subjects/units and contribute to teaching on other programmes, as agreed with the line manager.
About You
You will have a Degree in Hospitality or tourism related subject or proven teaching experience in the hospitality and tourism industries at Levels 1 -3. You will hold a teacher training qualification such as PGCE or DTLLS as well as experience of working in an FE or HE environment. You will have industry experience and be a flexible team player, with excellent organisational skills.
You will have the ability to motivate and manage young people and be passionate about supporting learners in developing their knowledge, practical skills and learning attitudes through the course to achieve student success. Experience of providing personal tutorial support for learners would also be advantageous.
