This is an exciting opportunity to join the Social Science, Counselling and Childhood Studies department as a Programme Coordinator of FE Social Science. We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated, individual to join our team and bring with them innovative ideas to maintain a high-quality provision and grow the curriculum within this area.
As Programme Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the co-ordination, management and development of our Social Science programmes within the Social Science, Counselling and Childhood Studies department. This will include overseeing a range of Social Science study programmes, alongside growing and developing provision in Youth Work and other areas where there is a skill need.
As part of the role, you will be expected to lead on quality assurance within your area, ensuring that a high-quality provision is delivered. You will also be expected to undertake teaching responsibilities within the Social Science, Counselling and Childhood Studies department. Responsibilities across the section may also include overseeing other elements to your provision, including English and Maths GCSE’s/functional skills, additional learning support, and other enrichment activities as well as the core qualifications. The role will also include monitoring student progress and putting in place interventions to support the student journey, as and when appropriate.
