Trainer Assessor within Childcare
22.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year
£29,403 - £31,350 per annum pro rata
Our childcare and early years programme offers our learners the perfect environment to learn and develop their knowledge and skills into becoming ready to work in an early years setting. We have a great opportunity to appoint an experienced assessor to work with our students studying across our early years provision. The purpose of this role is to provide effective on and off-the-job support, guidance, reviews and assessment whilst the learners are studying their course.
The successful candidate will be proactive and willing to travel to see students whilst on placement in Norwich and the surrounding area. They will have an assessor’s qualification, as well as a level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. They will be a team worker with an adaptable, flexible approach to work, high professional standards when measuring student competencies in the workplace, and great communication between the teaching team, students and employers.
