Key Responsibilities 1. Delivering engaging, inspiring, and inclusive lessons to students at varying levels including adults, including functional skills and GCSE. 2. Be flexible in delivering classes on evenings and weekends. 3. Assessing, supporting, and motivating learners to achieve their full potential. 4. Creating and adapting lesson plans to meet the needs of a diverse group of students including ESOL learners progressing onto GCSE English. 5. Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience. 6. To prepare schemes of work and maintain such records as appropriate and directed. 7. To contribute learning materials and assignments to the collective learning resources of the Corporation. 8. To mark registers, monitor student attendance and compete registration requirements. 9. To participate in the Corporation’s quality assurance procedures as directed. 10. To contribute to the action planning of students and provide interim and end of year reports as requested. 11. To undertake course and curriculum development essential for own teaching. 12. To participate in subject, course team and curriculum meetings and reviews, for which additional payment will be made. 13.
