We have an excellent opportunity for a Childcare Learning and Skills Tutor to deliver Level 2, 3 & 5 qualifications. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who aspires to train and develop their candidates to achieve their maximum potential. The role will involve meeting students in their place of work and working closely with employers.
Key Duties:
- Teach, deliver and assess childcare Diplomas and Apprenticeships - Levels 2, 3 and 5 within the workplace environment.
- Follow quality procedures and processes, internal and external funding requirements to ensure the timely progression of learners.
- Ensure the most effective learning, achievement and progression for each candidate.
- Maintain good relationships with the learner and their employer to ensure efficient and effective completion of the qualifications.
- Complete all necessary documentation as required for funding requirements on ELearning system.
This role is suitable as a job share opportunity.
This is a fixed term role for 9 months to cover maternity leave.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C1: Can express themselves fluently and spontaneously, almost effortlessly. Only a conceptually difficult subject can hinder a natural, smooth flow of language.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
